Each day, the observatory workers are exposed to great danger. In winter, the complex of buildings is often completely hidden under a thick layer of snow. For many years, Mount Washington has been in the attention of tourists and photographers who were not afraid of the harsh climatic conditions and stories about dead people in these places. It is possible to walk through some foothills without risking lives, but this should be done only when accompanied by a guide.
