Brno - Roadster/Convertible Hire

Searching for open roof cars

Preset configuration of the white form above - search for an exotic car or a cabriolet at 'Brno - Airport'. Address: Brno Turany Airport, Brno, 62700, Czechia.

In Brno, we provide vehicles at 2 different rental locations. Cars with a folding roof are rather of a rare type, so they are mostly offered in airports and railway stations.

We advise booking a cabriolet in Czechia in advance (several weeks or even several months prior to your trip), since the availability of convertibles in our car park is quite limited.

Brno, Czechia: cabriolet rental hints
The most widespread cabriolet models offered for rent in Czechia are: BMW 3 series Cabriolet, Peugeot 206 Cabriolet, Renault Megane Cabriolet, Audi A3 Convertible, Audi A4 Convertible and BMW Z4 Roadster.

At the booking time, please check the rental conditions carefully. Quite often, rental offices in Brno require two credit cards to guarantee issuance of a cabrio or a roadster.

We recommend ordering additional no-excess insurance that covers your risk (franchise), since the franchise amount for cabriolets in Czechia is quite high.

Make sure to inspect the rental invoice issued at the office in Brno and compare it with the information indicated in your voucher. Sometimes, rental officers make 'unintentional' mistakes in rental invoices.

In parking garage, examine the vehicle for defects and scratches carefully. If you find any of them, check whether they have been specified in your rental document.

When parking a cabriolet in Brno, it is recommended to unfold the roof and close windows in order to prevent theft or robbery.

OrangeSmile.com wishes you an exciting journey with an open roof around Czechia!

Driving Advices for Czechia – Traffic Regulations and Road Usage Peculiarities
Previous hints
During the period from October 30 to the end of March, drivers are recommended to use winter tires. There are roads, where it is even prohibited to use summer tires during the abovementioned period. If you plan to drive on snow-covered roads in winter, you may need to use snow chains. The roads, which are considered the most difficult and dangerous, are marked with relevant signs. The use of studded tires is prohibited in the Czech Republic.
In large cities, there are often traffic jams from 8:00 to 10:00 and from 17:00 to 19:00. Many foreign drivers do not notice the «TRAM», «TAXI» and «BUS» signs when they drive in heavy traffic on the road. However, these signs indicate special lanes for trams, taxis and buses, and drivers are not permitted to occupy these lanes.
Drivers in the Czech Republic are distinguished by politeness. They treat other motorists with respect. If you see the car blinking with its lower beams, it means that it gives way to other road users. In this country such a behavior is considered a norm.

Enjoying sights of Brno in cabriolet
If you have long explored all the most popular city tours and iconic sights in Brno, it's time to begin an independent acquaintance with the city. Some of its places tend to change radically from time to time. Thus, on an ordinary weekday, the old square of Zelné trh is nothing extraordinary. On a typical day, you can just walk in a quiet atmosphere, look at buildings surrounding the square and take some pictures. But try to visit this place on an early Saturday morning! You will be surprised at the abundance of shopping tents on the square where you can buy literally everything. Wonderful live flowers, fresh vegetables and fruits, fresh farm products and souvenirs can all be bought on the Saturday market, which is one of the oldest traditions and main secrets of the ancient square.

If your soul wants truly amazing discoveries, head to another city square - Namesti Svobody . Look for an unusual monument in the shape of a cartridge case - most tourists might find it completely unremarkable or even strange. This unusual sculpture is a clock, the opening of which took place in 2010. The clock is also an important historical monument, as it is erected in honor of General Torstenson famous for his military exploits. Coming closer to the unusual clock, on it smooth surface you can notice a few cuts through which the hand can pass freely. A glass ball appears in one of the slits every morning at 11:00, and any lucky person can pick it up as a souvenir. If you want to take such an unusual souvenir with you, do not be lazy to come to the clock in advance and get in line at one of the gapes.
