First and foremost, in the hometown of Thomas Anders, a member of Modern Talking, be sure to visit Freizeitbad Tauris Water Park. A large indoor pool is especially popular here. Like any other facility in Germany, this one is clean and well maintained, and the staff is always ready to help. Here is also an outdoor swimming pool where you can spend a good time. Slides are available for the smallest kids and for older children. The water park is located in a great area - nearby is a center where you can play tennis (Tennis- und Sportakademie Rheinland) and a velodrome (Biohazylandy Dirtpark), as well as a number of sports complexes.
Nearby is the playground Spielplatz Mülheim-Kärlich, the main "attraction" of which is a children's slide. It is frequented by families with children from 2 to 6 years old. Not only the picturesque views can be enjoyed by the Rhine coast - the thing is that near the waterfront is another playground where kids can have plenty of fun and get wonderful impressions. Small citizens should also be taken to Adventure Golf where they will play mini-golf and, of course, enjoy the magnificent scenery.
Zoo Neuwied is a must-have for those traveling in Koblenz with children of any age (however, even if you're visiting the city alone, this place is still highly recommended). This is the largest zoo in Rhineland-Palatinate. Besides presenting animals such as peacocks, penguins, monkeys, tigers, parrots, and rabbits, the zoo offers spectacular views because the park is situated on a slope. Also, on site is a playground that kids should not miss. A good restaurant serves delicious food here. It is worth noting that all animals are provided with the necessary care.
