The water park is located in a great area - nearby is a center where you can play tennis (Tennis- und Sportakademie Rheinland) and a velodrome (Biohazylandy Dirtpark), as well as a number of sports complexes.
Nearby is the playground Spielplatz Mülheim-Kärlich, the main "attraction" of which is a children's slide. It is frequented by families with children from 2 to 6 years old. Zoo Neuwied is a must-have for those traveling in Koblenz with children of any age (however, even if you're visiting the city alone, this place is still highly recommended). This is the largest zoo in Rhineland-Palatinate. Besides presenting animals such as peacocks, penguins, monkeys, tigers, parrots, and rabbits, the zoo offers spectacular views because the park is situated on a slope. Also, on site is a playground that kids should not miss. A good restaurant serves delicious food here. It is worth noting that all animals are provided with the necessary care.
