Garmisch-Partenkirchen topics
Garmisch-Partenkirchen is a town with very interesting history and has a vast number of cultural traditions. Native people often wear traditional clothes ('Dirndl' for women and 'Lederhosen' for men). The walls of buildings are decorated by frescoes that are very often many centuries old. The nature around the town is extremely picturesque with all the mountains that create an impression of utmost height and mighty.
Together with its reputation of a sporty town it is also known as a health resort, a so-called 'climatotherapeutic training centre', the main aim of which is to define the illness at its early stages and to do everything to prevent its further development. The center has got everything for this: medical facilities, skilled doctors and climate.
But winter is not the only season when Garmisch is worth visiting. One can choose any season he wishes as it will be convenient and comfortable in all the respects: places of interest, moving through the territory. You will everywhere and any time fond what to admire.
