Burg Castle is a no less interesting architectural object. The castle is located east of the city's main square. The building was constructed in the 15th century, but the castle was repeatedly reconstructed during its long history. The eastern part of the square is the location of a beautiful memorial that was erected in the memory of World War II victims. Without a doubt, Mausoleum of the Emperor Ferdinand II is one of the most beautiful architectural monuments of the city. This is a beautiful Baroque building that is used as a tomb of the royal family. The mausoleum can safely be called a beautiful work of architectural art. Museum Joanneum is also an interesting cultural institution. The museum was founded in 1811 and has been exhibiting priceless collections of zoological, geological, botanical and other natural items.
