The charming rocky Pearl beach is situated nearby. It’s quiet and calm, unlike its nearest neighbor. Given that other hospitality establishments are far from there, even at the high season the coast isn’t so crowded. Klong Prao Beach, by contrast, is aimed to those preferring budget vacations. Next to it, there are several popular economy hotels, so there are quite a lot of vacationers at the coast. Incredibly beautiful sandy beach Kai Bae doesn’t enjoy popularity among travelers despite of its charm. The reason is the presence of fairly large underwater rocks that prevent relaxation in comfort. This stretch of coast fits perfectly for those who want to sunbathe privately or just enjoy natural beauty in silence.

Lonely beach is considered the most beautiful beach of Koh Chang; its photos can be seen in many tourist brochures. Despite its popularity, the beach doesn’t feature superb infrastructure. Here you can find several shops and classic restaurants, but nothing else. Lonely Beach is particularly popular among young travelers, as after sunset local cafes miraculously transform into stylish nightclubs and discos.

There is attractive rocky Bailan bay nearby. Here you can seldom meet travelers, as many tourists are attracted by sandy coastal areas. Bang Bao Beach is hardly crowded too, although it’s quite comfortable. The most inexpensive hotels are situated there. The main drawback of this beach is its poor infrastructure. However, fans of fishing and relaxing holiday won’t find a more comfortable place on the island.
