One and Only Pool, Maldives

Hotel “One and Only” is located in the Maldives. It has long been a landmark of world significance, not only because of its chic rooms and high status. A huge swimming pool with several dedicated rapids is a prominent feature of the hotel. Its edge merges with the ocean. Not everyone takes the risk of enjoying a swim in this infinity pool. The fear of not noticing the edge of the pool is very great.
However, the pool is safe. It has low sides. They are made of natural stone. The walls and bottom of the pool are lined with very beautiful tiles in natural shades. In addition to the luxury infinity pool, hotel guests will have many more opportunities to get thrills. For example, they can choose to stay in one of the luxury villas built above the water. Each of these villas has a spacious terrace with a descent into the water.

Top destination around One and Only Pool - Male Atoll
Another highly recommended place to go to is Jumhooree Maidhaan park not far from the Malé’s embankment. It was built a not long time ago, it’s citizens’ top favourite place to visit. Shaded pathways, lawns where one can just walk around or have a modest picnic – a perfect choice how to wait out a day heat. By the way, recently it was allowed to plant name trees, so anyone who wants so can so to speak leave a memory of them here on the island.
Concerning other islands of the atoll, there is a mosque on Huraa Island. It’s one of the oldest in the country.
Thilafushi is a rather ambiguous island that still attracts tourists. It’s a so-called rubbish island, it belongs to industrial enterprises and dirty industries. Its landscape is like a picture of the world after a man-made disaster.
There is one of the atoll’s the most gorgeous places on Vaadhoo – Sea of Stars. Planktons star glowing in the night-time and their unusual blue light creates fairy scenery.
