New Orleans is the most beautiful city of the state Louisiana situated just above the mouth of the Mississippi River.
As any other city, New Orleans has got several nicknames due to its geographic situation: a 'Crescent City' and a 'Big Easy' are two of them.
The Big Easy can be also referred to way of life determined by the climate which is subtropical and generally hot and humid from the beginning of spring up to the middle of autumn. Winters in New Orleans are usually damp and chilly. It often rains in the region; sometimes rains are rather heavy and pass to thunderstorms in summer.
The city faced lots of tornadoes due to climatic conditions and consequences of them were different, sometimes even disastrous.
The most popular tourist territory called the French Quarter remained untouched by all those nature disasters, a great number of street performers stopped their acts there. In the whole, the process of reconstruction is very slow.
