The Canary Islands is a year-round resort, where travelers can have vacations at any time of year. Even in winter the water temperature at most beach resorts is comfortable for swimming. However, hikers are advised not to plan their trip for summer.
It’s better to go out to the natural reserve in the morning or in the evening, when the sun is not so hot. Be sure to take a sun protector, as you can burn even during a usual walk.

The main form of public transport at larger islands is bus; tourists always have an opportunity to take a taxi too. Active guests prefer to rent a car to have a complete freedom of movement throughout the archipelago.
