Location : The airport is located on the Reykjanes peninsula, just a short drive from the town of Reykjanesbaer (Keflavik) and 50km (31 miles) southwest of the capital, Reykjavik.

There are information desks on both levels of the passenger terminal.
Available Facilities and Services
Money and communications: Landsbanki Íslands (tel: 410 4144), the Icelandic national bank, has two branches at the airport, one in front of the arrivals hall and the other in the departure hall, and there are several ATMs in the terminal. There are two post boxes in the terminal as well. Wi-Fi access is available in all the principal waiting and restaurant and bar areas.
Eating and drinking: A bistro restaurant and several cafes and bars serving food, snacks and cold and hot drinks are available in the passenger terminal.
Shopping: There are several duty-free shops at the airport, and the product and brand selection is very good, including cosmetics, alcohol, confectionery, tobacco, books, magazines, jewellery, watches, technology and multimedia products. There are also shops selling Icelandic crafts, woollens and souvenirs as well as Icelandic food and drink items.
Luggage: For items lost in the arrivals or departures hall, contact the police in the terminal (tel: 420 1808). For items lost or found during travel, contact the airline concerned.
Other facilities: Icelandair travel agency (tel: 425 0220) at the airport is located in the departure hall.
Car Parking Info
There are short term parking lots on both sides of the terminal and a big long-term parking lot a bit further away, although still within walking distance.
Driving by car from/to Reykjavik
The airport is clearly signposted from Reykjavik.
Public Transportation from/to Reykjavik
Bus: Flybus (tel: 562 1011; website: www.flybus.is) transfers to Reykjavik correspond with all incoming flights and leave 35-40 minutes after the arrival of each flight. The trip takes about 45 minutes. The Flybus also departs from the BSI Bus Terminal in Reykjavik to catch departing flights. Travellers should ask their hotel to book a Flybus transfer to the airport the day before their departure. Taxi: Taxi service from the airport is operated by two companies, Aðalstöðin (tel: 421 1515) and Ökuleiðir (tel: 421 4141).
