Just like many other Alpine resorts, Saas-Fee appeared on a site of once a small historic village. It is worth mentioning that even nowadays the resort cannot be called big, but that is an advantage rather than a drawback as hordes of tourists don’t ruin the harmony of this beautiful place. Moreover, despite the size, the infrastructure of Saas-Fee is simply perfect. The local metro is known as the most high-mountain one in the world; it connects stations that are located 3,000 and 5,000 metres above the sea level. The absence of transport is one more advantage of the resort as because of this peculiarity the air is always fresh and clean there.
When it comes to describing infrastructure for winter sports, the resort deserves highest praise. The total length of routes for skiing is over 10 kilometres, the ski zone is conventionally divided into several parts that are served by a system of chairlifts, making skiing very comfortable. There are also some landmarks in the resort, so fans of excursions will not be bored or disappointed. Copyright www.orangesmile.com

While dining or resting in cozy atmosphere, guests will enjoy a 360 degree panorama of Switzerland as the restaurant makes one full rotation every hour. Numerous high class hotels with developed infrastructure are another advantage of the resort. Many hotels offer spa treatments and revitalizing techniques.
