Another original tree house is to be found in the British village of Pitchford, on the grounds of the ancient estate of Pitchford Hall. The estate was built in the second half of the 16th century and has been rebuilt many times over the long history of its existence. At the end of the 19th century the complex of buildings was significantly expanded. The exact date of construction of a small house on a tree remains for certain unknown. It was built of wood in general for the manor style. The tree on which the building is located, in itself is an outstanding landmark. The age of sprawling linden is estimated to be about 900 years.
The old estate is especially worth seeing for those tourists who like walks through historical sites. It was built on the site of the destroyed old castle. For a long history of the estate, the Pitchford Hall was visited by several distinguished guests, including Queen Victoria. The tree house is the most unusual object on the territory of the estate. The first mention of it dates back to 1962. For what purpose it has been built, is not known exactly. The last large-scale reconstruction of the estate and the amazing house took place in 1980.
