Brindleyplace One of the most unusual urban attractions is the Museum of Cadbury World, which is dedicated to the favourite treat of all - chocolate. During the tour, visitors of the museum will be told about how in 1824 the Cadbury company was founded in Birmingham. It has since become one of the world's largest chocolate manufacturers. Initially, it had no relation to chocolate, the company was engaged in the supply of coffee and tea from India. Mandatory part of the tour is the tasting of the popular sweets, and there is also a great shop in the museum.

Interesting historical symbol of the city is the Hay-Hall house, it was built in 1260 and originally owned by one of the most prominent families in the city. For hundreds of years the house has completely lost its original appearance, the last major reconstruction took place there in the 17th century. Next to the mansion there are several large industrial centres, because of which the house had several times found itself in danger of collapsing. Every time the inhabitants of the city managed to defend this historic symbol; today house situated in a beautiful park.
Gas Street Basin One of the most interesting places for walking is a historic Broad Street: here tourists should definitely look for the house number 266. It is interesting not only for its spectacular views; in 1875 this house was built directly over one of the city's canal system. Under there is a big tunnel, which is easily accessible by boat. Today in this historic building is one of the most popular restaurants of Indian cuisine, and a cosy bar with a national atmosphere.
Saracen's Head mansion is considered to be a unique historical attraction, built in 1492 and originally owned by a wealthy local merchant. In the Middle Ages the royals often stayed in this mansion, and in the 18th century it was converted into a public house. During more than 500 years of existence, this old mansion miraculously managed to save a number of original elements of decoration. To this day, you can see the architectural elements of the 500-year-old wood, as well as preserved clay finish. The mansion has been restored as much as possible to the atmosphere of past years, it stores an interesting collection of old furniture and utensils.
