Tolquhon Castle, Scotland

Tolquhon Castle is a residence of Forbes’ family, that’s why it is known all over the world. At the beginning of the 15th century, there was a tall tower that was used for control and premises security. At the end of the 16th century, a great tetragon building was added to the tower. This building has saved practically in its original view until now.

Tolquhon Castle, Scotland This castle doesn’t save only all construction but also wonderful sculptures. The main decoration of the fortress is an unusual gun ports. They saved from the time of their building. In front of the forest was made a spacious yard with a nice garden. Also, there were put several household buildings.

Some rooms of the castle are open for visitors. Tourists can see the gun room, saved towers that have a great view on the outskirts.
