The Capital City of Poznań is one of Poland's oldest historical cities. This city is an important historical centre of the country. Poznań's cathedral is the oldest in the Poland and such famous first Polish rulers like: king Mieszko II, duke Mieszko I, king Boleslaw the Brave, dupe Casimir I the Restorel, king Przemyslaw II and duke Przemyslaw I are buried in the building of the one of the oldest churches in Poland - The Archcathedral Basilica of St. Peter and St. Paul.
It is well-known that trade, industrial and educational systems of the city are highly developed. Among the largest cities of the country Poznan is on the 5th place. It is also the 4th biggest industrial city. Poznan is a part of Greater Poland Voivodeship and it is the voivodeship administrative capital.
