The Senso-ji Temple. The Senso-ji Temple was built in 628 AD with the aim of keeping there the golden statue of Bodhisattva Kwannon (the god of benevolence). It is one of the most important Buddhist temples that for centuries attract palmers and tourists from all the corners of the world. The numerous faithful are not even stopped by the fact that the temple, as long as its 5-stored pagoda, is just a concrete copy. They think that the smoke, rising from the huge smoking bowls, installed right in front of the temple, can heal.
