The region of Puglia is situated in the south-eastern part of Italy; almost the entire territory of the province is occupied by rich forests, olive groves and vineyards. Most of these buildings survived in Alberobello, so there are entire streets consisting of white dwarf buildings with conical roofs. Those are famous Trullo houses.
