The region of Puglia is situated in the south-eastern part of Italy; almost the entire territory of the province is occupied by rich forests, olive groves and vineyards. Nature is truly impressive there. Tourists are attracted to these places with an abundance of natural attractions, extraordinary cuisine, numerous tour facilities and hospitality of the locals, who have kept good traditions and customs for centuries. Local customs were mentioned not by chance, as there are often folk festivals, carnivals and bright celebrations in Puglia; both locals and tourists from other countries gladly take part in festivities.
Beaches of the province are also worthy of the highest praise. The beautiful coast, clean water and great equipment make it possible not only to swim in the gentle sea, but also to enjoy water sports. The region is famous for typical houses of local residents - Trulli - which can be seen in every provincial town. Most of these buildings survived in Alberobello, so there are entire streets consisting of white dwarf buildings with conical roofs. Those are famous Trullo houses.
