Gatorland Theme Park also known as "The Alligator Capital of the World" offers not only attractions (including a rope course) but also a zoo with a thousand crocodiles and alligators, as well as other reptiles. They also hold amazing reptile shows here. The park is noteworthy in that all the animals in its zoo are not caught intentionally but saved: they buy reptiles from hunters who would kill them for meat or skin. Movie buffs will probably find it interesting that "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" was filmed here in 1984. All theme parks host colorful events, including tourists' favorite ones: Halloween, Fat Tuesday, Harry Potter Weekend (at Universal Orlando Resort), Christmas and New Year.
Among other things, Orlando has some great entertainment centers. Thus, you can improve your accuracy shooting an air rifle in Oak Ridge Gun Range, while those who dream of skydiving should look for a wind tunnel in iFly Orlando. Both adults and small tourists are invited to experience this recreational activity - there is no need to worry about safety. The unique simulator 7D Dark Ride Adventure is a shooter game in which you need to kill zombies, robots, and werewolves - all with appropriate sound and visual effects. Those wishing to play a team game should like paintball, which is available in such local clubs as Orlando Paintball and Battleground Orlando. A visit to Andretti Indoor Karting and Games is a must-have for racing enthusiasts.
