Searching for open roof cars

Preset configuration of the white form above - search for an exotic car or a cabriolet at 'Zaragoza - Airport'. Address: Aeropuerto De Zaragoza, Zaragoza - Renfe Train Station, Spain.

In Zaragoza, we provide vehicles at 5 different rental locations. Cars with a folding roof are rather of a rare type, so they are mostly offered in airports and railway stations.

We advise booking a cabriolet in Spain in advance (several weeks or even several months prior to your trip), since the availability of convertibles in our car park is quite limited.

Zaragoza, Spain: cabriolet rental hints
The most widespread cabriolet models offered for rent in Spain are: BMW 3 series Cabriolet, Peugeot 206 Cabriolet, Renault Megane Cabriolet, Audi A3 Convertible, Audi A4 Convertible and BMW Z4 Roadster.

At the booking time, please check the rental conditions carefully. Quite often, rental offices in Zaragoza require two credit cards to guarantee issuance of a cabrio or a roadster.

We recommend ordering additional no-excess insurance that covers your risk (franchise), since the franchise amount for cabriolets in Spain is quite high.

Make sure to inspect the rental invoice issued at the office in Zaragoza and compare it with the information indicated in your voucher. Sometimes, rental officers make 'unintentional' mistakes in rental invoices.

In parking garage, examine the vehicle for defects and scratches carefully. If you find any of them, check whether they have been specified in your rental document.

When parking a cabriolet in Zaragoza, it is recommended to unfold the roof and close windows in order to prevent theft or robbery.

OrangeSmile.com wishes you an exciting journey with an open roof around Spain!

Driving Advices for Spain – Traffic Regulations and Road Usage Peculiarities
Previous hints
Local drivers are rather impatient and, so they often express their dissatisfaction with the signals. Foreign visitors are not recommended to follow their example. The reason for this is the fact that the use of a car honk is prohibited.
Spanish drivers often disregard the speed limit. However, the speeding of just 20 km/h can result in a fine of 100 euro, so it is better not to risk and not to exceed the designated speed limit.
It should be noted that local police is quite condescending towards foreigners. It is likely that if a driver breaks traffic regulations for the first time, he will get only a warning. However, drivers shouldn’t expect that next violations will cause no punishment.

Our Lady of the Pilar’s celebration is not the only interesting event that takes place in Aragon’s capital. At the Encuentro Internacional de Folklore event held at the beginning of September, guests of the city will be introduced to the culture of locals as well as that of other nationalities. All major events such as dance performances, music concerts, theater shows, as well as craft fairs and art exhibitions, take place on the busiest square of the city called Plaza Pilar. Of course, all of them are representing national spirit, as teams from all over the world become participants of the festival.

The early November jazz event is popular among music enthusiasts. We are talking about the International Jazz Festival, whose venues include lots of stages – both indoors and outdoors (art cafes, theatres, concert halls, bars, and clubs). During the event, guests of the city are entertained by musicians from around the globe, many of whom are renowned even by tourists who are not keen on jazz and blues. At the beginning of March, locals recollect the events of 1838 with the Festival of Cincomarzada. It marks the time (March 5th) when their ancestors fought heroically for their city, not giving it to the Carlists (apostles). The main events take place in the picturesque Parque del Tio Jorge (named after one of the battle’s heroes). The event features music concerts, picnics, interactive games, and a family-friendly atmosphere.
