The first place to be visited with kids is Zoologico El Bosque fascinating all small citizens. Here they can look at a variety of animals living in different climatic zones - kangaroos, raccoons, possums, meerkats, parrots, monkeys, ostriches. The zoo is not big but still very spacious and attractive to visitors of all ages. The animals receive proper care and feel comfortable too.
In the second instance, there are places of interest such as Complejo Deportivo Azcárraga and Piscina Universitaria, where you can swim to your heart's desire. The first complex consists of a swimming pool, a sauna, a jacuzzi and a gym - everything one might need for an active pastime and quality rest. Piscina Universitaria belongs to the University of Oviedo but is open to the general public. Here you can swim in a wonderful pool, and the complex itself is clean and well maintained, which will be appreciated by all family members, from baby to adult.
Nearby is Parque de Invierno - a beautiful garden ideal for walking. Unparalleled green landscapes amaze every visitor with their beauty and well-groomed look. The park has several areas for cycling, rollerblading, and picnicking. It is often called the hidden gem of Oviedo. Nearby you can find an entertainment center for the smallest children from 2 to 6 years old.
