Being in the capital of the Czech Republic, you cannot avoid the Franz Kafka Museum. It is situated on the left side of Karlův most, in Malá Strana. Among the exhibits you will find here are correspondence, photo expositions, first editions of the works of the great native of the city, as well as his drawings. Fans can get to purchase any of the author’s books. Not far from the museum is Nejužší pražská ulička – the narrowest (its width is only 70 cm), as well as one of the oldest streets of Jaroslav Hasek’s hometown. Everyone will also find interesting the Sex Machines Museum which is located in the Old Town. It is another meeting place for creative youth. The spot has long been considered legendary, and you can see unusual graffiti here. There are magnificent sacral buildings in the city too. Among them, there is Kostel Panny Marie Pred Tynem (a living embodiment of a fairy tale), Chrám svatého Mikuláše (famous for its interesting views that open up from the bell tower), as well as the interior decoration of Jeruzalémská synagoga, all particularly noteworthy.
