An old brewery, founded in 1864, remained in Sarajevo. Now, it is one of the important sightseeing objects. From the time the plant was opened, its beer was notorious for excellent taste qualities and was actively supplied to many neighboring countries. In 1918, the plant began to supply beer to the Royal Court. This is processing old factory. They also produce various non-alcoholic drinks and carry out fascinating excursions for tourists. In the historic building operates an excellent bear garden and a bar.
Those tourists who are partial to modern history, must necessarily visit the Sarajevo military tunnel. It was built during the Bosnian War and in 1992 - 1995 served as a shelter for local residents. Over the war years, the tunnel was partially destroyed. Only 20 meters of an underground passage left. Here, the local Kolar family opened a military museum, which contains really interesting pieces.
While walking in the historic center of Sarajevo, find the Clock Tower. It was built in the 17th century and remains the tallest building on the territory of the historic district. The height of the tower is 34 meters. Its clock, installed in 1873, keeps on running to this very day.
