Krabi is accepting more and more visitors every year.
A small town 814 kms. from Bangkok is quite a pleasant place if you want to spend there a few days before going to the beaches. The spectacular limestione karst scenery and monsoon forest is really something that shouldn't be missed. You can have a chance and visit any of the forest parks such as Koa Benja National Park with its caves and waterfalls or Nam Tok Hoay Toe and swim in the pools. You can also take a day trip to Pha Nga bay to observe irregular shaped mountains rising out of the sea above traditional Muslim fishing villages on stilts.
Those who prefer to watch historic places will also find lots of interesting things for them in the town as well as those who like to go shopping and get pleasure of comfortable accommodation and tasty food.
