Another striking craft, which locals have managed to master to perfection, is the manufacture of ceramic products. Ceramics produced in Toledo is easy to distinguish from each other, as it is decorated with incredibly delicate and skillful painting that can’t be copied by masters from other cities and countries. An interesting city has several enchanting national holidays, the names of which alone can cause tremendous interest from tourists.
In late January, locals celebrate Fiesta de la vaca, which literally translates as ‘The Festival of cows.’ This festival is dedicated to the patron saint of the city, St. Paul; it strikes with an abundance of bright and amazing recreational activities. During the festival, you can see people dressed in costumes of cows on the streets of the city; they are trying to catch up locals and curious tourists. If they succeed, the sluggish person must pay off with treat or money.
