Bangalore is also home to several unique natural attractions, the most famous of which is Lake Ulsur. Every day the lake is visited by thousands of tourists who want to make a walk along the picturesque shore or enjoy a boat ride, during which they can slowly examine the local beauty. Travelers, who arrive in Bangalore in late August, are very lucky as they can visit the festival of Ganesh. The holiday in honor of the god of wisdom is held annually. All major celebrations are primary located on the Ulsur Lake. Finally, do not forget to visit the local Botanic Garden, which was founded in 1760 by order of Sultan Haider Ali. The territory of the garden is also the location of a beautiful glass palace. Every year the botanic garden houses a large and truly magnificent Flower Show.
