Another interesting object is the Casa Loma castle built in 1914 by a successful financier Henry Pilatt. Casa Loma resembles a classic medieval castle with its appearance; it is the most ambitious object in the country, which was originally built as an apartment building. Nowadays the castle is often filmed in movies. One of its spacious rooms houses a luxury restaurant.
The most important cultural center of the city is the Royal Ontario Museum. Its exposition is devoted to nature and world culture; it has more than six million exhibits. The museum houses a worthy collection dedicated to prehistoric animals, as well as a huge number of stores with art and archaeological finds. Art Gallery on Ontario impresses with its extensive collection. About 68,000 paintings, including priceless works by Van Dyck, Rubens, Picasso, Rembrandt, Van Gogh, Degas and other world-famous artists, are represented.
