Four Seasons Returns to Dubai

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has announced that the company will return to hotel market of Dubai by opening a resort property there. The 237 guestroom Four Seasons Resort Dubai is located on Jumeirah Beach. The hotel is to open in 2014. The resort will be located on a huge plot of land of 11 acres (4.45 hectare). The hotel will be just 2 kilometers away from the commercial district of Dubai and will feature stunning looks of the Arabian Gulf.

The developer of this property is Bright Start, a Dubai-based company. The building of the object has been already started. The design of the resort is the result of work of WATG. Interior design concept is presented by BAMO.

According to Four Seasons, they are happy to return to Dubai. This is the biggest tourism hub in the Middle East, so it’s clear why so many hoteliers want to have their resorts there. Four Seasons plans to have one of its flagship hotels in Dubai. The Toronto-headquartered hotel company wants to find a reliable partner in this region and continue developing its presence in the UAE.

Four Seasons Resort Dubai Jumeirah Beach will be targeted at both leisure and business travellers. The territory of the resort will include three restaurants and large swimming pool with a bar, and other facilities.

Earlier Four Seasons managed the Four Seasons Golf Club Dubai Festival City. The company was to manage the hotel that should have been adjacent to the golf club. However, the building was cancelled and IHG took over the management of the club in 2009. Four Seasons Resort Dubai Jumeirah Beach is not the only hotel in the UAE in plans of Four Seasons. The company will open Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi at Al Maryah Island in 2015.
