ATMs can be found throughout the airport. Cafe and restaurants: Bars are located in both terminals, and restaurants in the central building. Shopping facilities: Shopping includes a jewellers, clothes shops, a mobile telephone shop and a perfume shop and duty-free. Luggage services: Left-luggage is open 24 hours and is located in the central hall, level 1. Other services: Mother and baby rooms are available in both terminals. There is a travel agent and chemist in the central building. A 24-hour medical centre is located on the ground floor of the central building.

There are several parking options (tel: 0826 800 826). The underground car park P0 offers short-term parking with direct lift access to the terminals, P1 and P2 are short-term car parks for Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 respectively, and P5 and P6 are long-term car parks connected to the airport terminals by a free shuttle bus.

Driving by car from/to Lyon

The airport is located on the A432. It can be accessed from the A42 towards Geneva and the A43 towards Chambéry.

Public Transportation from/to Lyon

By Railway: Trains run from the airport's TGV station and serve many French destinations, including Paris Gare de Lyon, Marseille and Montpellier (tel: (0)8 3635 3535). How to reach: By Taxi: A taxi rank is located in front of Terminal 1. Taxi information is available from Taxi Aéroport (tel: (0)4 7855 3431). By Bus: Several bus services are operated by Satobus (tel: (0)4 7268 7217), connecting the airport to the main cities of Rhône-Alpes; their desk is located in the central area.

Plenty of tourists, traveling to the Alps usually have interchange in Lyon (the capital of the Rhone-Alpes area). But the city itself is a splendid place for spending there a week or two. The location on track crossings makes it ideal place for having a holiday: on the one hand you can enjoy the architecture and good cuisine of Lyon, and on the other hand if you just get tired of everlasting hustle of the city, it'll take you only 2 hours to get to the mountain resort in the Alps and the Mediterranean.
