For hundreds of years it was repeatedly destroyed and rebuilt. Initially, the temple was named after the patron saint of the city. In 1943 the basilica was almost completely destroyed during the hostilities. In the shortest possible time, it was completely restored. Now the basilica is one of the most popular places of marriages for the citizens.
