Copenhagen - Roadster/Convertible Hire

Searching for open roof cars

Preset configuration of the white form above - search for an exotic car or a cabriolet at 'Copenhagen - Airport'. Address: Copenhagen Airports A/S, Lufthavnsboulevarden 6, Copenhagen, Dk-2770, Kastrup, Denmark, Denmark.

In Copenhagen, we provide vehicles at 9 different rental locations. Cars with a folding roof are rather of a rare type, so they are mostly offered in airports and railway stations.

We advise booking a cabriolet in Denmark in advance (several weeks or even several months prior to your trip), since the availability of convertibles in our car park is quite limited.

Copenhagen, Denmark: cabriolet rental hints
The most widespread cabriolet models offered for rent in Denmark are: BMW 3 series Cabriolet, Peugeot 206 Cabriolet, Renault Megane Cabriolet, Audi A3 Convertible, Audi A4 Convertible and BMW Z4 Roadster.

At the booking time, please check the rental conditions carefully. Quite often, rental offices in Copenhagen require two credit cards to guarantee issuance of a cabrio or a roadster.

We recommend ordering additional no-excess insurance that covers your risk (franchise), since the franchise amount for cabriolets in Denmark is quite high.

Make sure to inspect the rental invoice issued at the office in Copenhagen and compare it with the information indicated in your voucher. Sometimes, rental officers make 'unintentional' mistakes in rental invoices.

In parking garage, examine the vehicle for defects and scratches carefully. If you find any of them, check whether they have been specified in your rental document.

When parking a cabriolet in Copenhagen, it is recommended to unfold the roof and close windows in order to prevent theft or robbery.

OrangeSmile.com wishes you an exciting journey with an open roof around Denmark!

Driving Advices for Denmark – Traffic Regulations and Road Usage Peculiarities
Previous hints
Local drivers are well aware of the traffic regulations, and the majority of them follow the rules all the time. However, at the same time local drivers are not distinguished by friendly approach to other drivers. If a foreign driver, who is not yet accustomed to the local traffic regulations, makes a mistake, he shouldn’t expect understanding on the part of local drivers.
Large traffic jams have become a real problem in big cities. Of course, Copenhagen is the leader in the number of traffic jams. The majority of traffic congestions occur in the morning and in the evening, before and after the working day respectively.
The capital also has the highest prices for parking. The daily use of local parking lots can make a significant gap in the budget of foreign guests. If you want to save on parking, we recommend contacting Parkering København (this organization is located close to the Royal Palace) and buying a special card that entitles you to a discount at local parking lots.
