There are not so many places of interest in Den Bosch, but this town is famous for fantastic pictures of Hieronimus Van Aeken (known by his pseudonym Bosch) that are exhibited in one of the local museums. There is also a beautiful St John Cathedral, which inner decorations and drafts of stained-glass windows were created by Bosch. The architecture of St. John Cathedral represents gothic style. Here you will find spear-shaped gothic bas-reliefs, arcs, windows and unusual details of outside décor – figures that hold the cathedral’s peak. This church is the most beautiful one in the Netherlands and one of the reasons for this is long building. Started in XIV, the building process ended only a hundred years later. While walking on the streets of old town, you will see museums exhibiting works of Van Gogh and other Holland artists, Ceramics Museum and the only museum in the Netherlands devoted to carnival. While working in the suburbs of Den Bosch, you will find ancient fort facilities, walls, and the town’s fosse.
