Anglican Cathedral. The Anglican Cathedral is the largest cathedral in Britain and the fifth largest in the world. Without a doubt, this is one of the most important sights of Liverpool. The cathedral is located a little away from the center of the city. The towers of the cathedral feature stunning views of the city. Moreover, the entrance is free.
Matthew Street. This is the street from which the career of the legendary Fab Four started. Today, everything on this street is connected with the name of The Beatles - John Lennon memorial, the old entrance to the club Cavern (the place where The Beatles had their first concert), a store devoted entirely to "The Beatles." Mathew Street is also home to The Grapes pub, in which the musicians spent time drinking beer between their performances (at that time beer was not sold at Cavern). Nowadays, Mathew Street is a popular holiday destination with plenty of bars, clubs and pubs.
