The Russian fans are already booking rooms in hotels at Slovakia, getting ready for the 75th World Championships in ice hockey that will be held in Slovakia from April 29 to May 15 next year.
The demand for ice hockey tickets increases with each passing day, although the official sale have not yet begun”, said Daniela Adamdzhakova, the deputy director of the LG trade agency.
Meanwhile, some hotels in Bratislava are already fully booked for these dates, and travel agencies are offering ready made packages including tickets to several games.
Bratislava hotels are expected to be at full occupancy and stop accepting the bookings by the end of November, that is why travel agency representatives advise those who want to attend the games to hurry up and book the rooms before it's too late.
Moreover, hotel prices are expected to rise during the Championships. Daniela Adamdzhakova noted that as soon as tickets to the World Cup will go on public sale by the end of September, the hockey fans can expect a sharp rise in ticket prices as well as in hotel room rates in Bratislava and Kosice.
