Accor – largest hotel group in Indonesia - has announced its further expansion plans and eight new pipeline projects scattered around the country. Slated to open by the end of 2012, the new hotels will be located in Subaraya, Java, Bali, Kuta, Denpasar and Jacarta. Accor's current Indonesian portfolio includes 39 properties and it is expected to reach 40 by the end of this year.
Ten more hotels will be added to it in 2011 and five in 2012. Thus, by 2012 their total number will reach 55 and the room capacity will grow up to 9,500 rooms. Here are some of the projects launched by Accor: Mercure Padang Hotel – a 143-room hotel located in the city's new district close to local governmental and banking establishments.
The hotel is slated to open in 2011. All Seasons Gajah Mada Hotel – located Jacarta's business district, this 130-room hotel features a restaurant, bar and three negotiation rooms; the hotel is slated to open in 2012. All Seasons Bangka Hotel – a 159-room hotel located in Pangkal-Pinang's downtown area; the hotel is slated to open in 2011.
