Mariott has opened two new hotels branded Courtyard by Mariott in Budapest and Saint Petersburg: Courtyard Budapest City Center and Courtyard St. Petersburg Center West/Pushkin Hotel.
'We are thrilled to watch our brand grow so fast in Europe and these two beautiful hotels be open in major cosmopolitan cities like Budapest and St. Petersburg', said Amy McPherson, chairman and chief manager of Mariott International in Europe.
The modern 235-room Courtyard Budapest City Center occupies a historic building found in Luisa Blaha Square in the Pest district; the building's beautiful facade has been renovated just recently. Apart from a restaurant, bar and hall, traditionally found in Courtyard hotels, this one features a conference room and fitness center.
Located in the center of Palmyra of the North, near the Gryboyedov Canal, Courtyard St. Petersburg Center West/Pushkin Hotel offers 273 perfectly equipped rooms with LCD TV, refrigerators, desks and wi-fi internet. The hotel features two restaurants – 'Poema' and 'Bierstube', plus lobby bar 'Onegin'.
There are nine conference rooms for business meetings, weddings and other festive occasions. This is the second Mariott hotel in St. Petersburg and third hotel in Russia. Mariott's European portfolio includes 40 hotels plus 10 pipeline properties.
