Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport in Arizona (the United States) is the main commercial airport of the state and a major one in the south-west of the country. The airport was opened in 1935. The airport is located close to the central business district of the city of Phoenix (5 kilometres). Both civil aviation and the United States Air Force make shared use of the airport. The city centre is connected with the airport by the light rail line which stops at 44th Street station in the territory of the airport. A shuttle connecting the terminals and the Rental Car Center departs from the baggage claim area of each terminal every 5-10 minutes (it stops at the curb at the exits). Parking lots are positioned next to each terminal. Sky Train light monorail line goes from the terminals to West and East Economy Parking Lots. Passengers can make use of valet parking services in the parking garage of Terminal 4. An advance parking space reservation allows you to take advantage of the discounts when paying.
