Newark Liberty International Airport is the main airport of New Jersey, USA. Liberty is at the border between two cities, Newark and Elizabeth. The airport is only 5 km from Newark. It services the traffic from two main ports of New York. The annual passenger turnover is 43.5 million people.
The airport was opened in 1928. During the Second World War, it was used by the US Air Force. At the airport, there are three air-strips and one helicopter pad. The passenger complex consists of three terminals: A, B, C. All the terminals are divided into several concourses.
The railway road goes through the airport, different settlements and Newark Railway Station. The monorail system «AirTrain» takes passengers from terminals to the railway station, parking areas, garages, and the car rental center. You can also reach the railway station by bus. Buses #28 (express), 62, 37, 67, 107 go to Newark, New York, Irvington, Jew Jersey, and other cities. At the airport, there are express buses running to the railway station in New York. In EWR, you can also take a transfer, a taxi (near any terminal), a limo, or rent a car.
