In addition, locals are famous for their love for football, and it is therefore not surprising that the Museu FC Porto can be found in the city. On Praca dos Leoes is located one of the most beautiful fountains of the capital of Northern Portugal. On the other hand, in the square you can find many interesting houses, and an amazing fountain with lions, right in the center. It is also worthwhile to appraise the modern view of the bridge Ponte Sao Joao and its scale. Other bridges of the city also represent some sort of interest. For instance, Ponte de Dom Luis I attracts romantics being one of the city’s most striking symbols, while Ponte Infante D. Henrique is famous for its modernity (it was built in the year 2003). Nearby you can find a building that has a rich history, Asilo da Misericórdia. The structure seems out of place, considering it is standing in the midst of modern buildings. At the top of the bridge opens up amazing views of the building.
