Searching for open roof cars

Preset configuration of the white form above - search for an exotic car or a cabriolet at 'Milan - Airport Malpensa'. Address: Milan Malpensa Airport, Milan, Italy.

In Milan, we provide vehicles at 23 different rental locations. Cars with a folding roof are rather of a rare type, so they are mostly offered in airports and railway stations.

We advise booking a cabriolet in Italy in advance (several weeks or even several months prior to your trip), since the availability of convertibles in our car park is quite limited.

Milan, Italy: cabriolet rental hints
The most widespread cabriolet models offered for rent in Italy are: BMW 3 series Cabriolet, Peugeot 206 Cabriolet, Renault Megane Cabriolet, Audi A3 Convertible, Audi A4 Convertible and BMW Z4 Roadster.

At the booking time, please check the rental conditions carefully. Quite often, rental offices in Milan require two credit cards to guarantee issuance of a cabrio or a roadster.

We recommend ordering additional no-excess insurance that covers your risk (franchise), since the franchise amount for cabriolets in Italy is quite high.

Make sure to inspect the rental invoice issued at the office in Milan and compare it with the information indicated in your voucher. Sometimes, rental officers make 'unintentional' mistakes in rental invoices.

In parking garage, examine the vehicle for defects and scratches carefully. If you find any of them, check whether they have been specified in your rental document.

When parking a cabriolet in Milan, it is recommended to unfold the roof and close windows in order to prevent theft or robbery.

OrangeSmile.com wishes you an exciting journey with an open roof around Italy!

Driving Advices for Italy – Traffic Regulations and Road Usage Peculiarities
Previous hints
In Italy, any usage of cans for refueling and fuel storage is prohibited. Therefore, it is impossible to buy petrol to make a "reserve". However, drivers are unlikely to have difficulty finding petrol stations. There are many of them even on roads far from large cities.
All the roads are divided into four types - highways (A) superways (SS), regional (SR) and provincial (SP). Regardless of the type, all the roads are distinguished by a very good quality and the presence of all necessary road signs and symbols.
Highways are the most convenient way to make long distance rides. They do not have branches, so it is absolutely not difficult to orient on them. A part of the A3 road, which connects Naples to Reggio Calabria, is the only free highway in the country. Driving on all other highways of the country is paid.

The majority of restaurants, banks and other institutions are closed during the daytime – from about 100 to 100. This is the time the locals call "siesta". It is also recommended to refrain from phone calls during the time of rest.

It is simply impossible to "catch" a taxi on the road in Milan. In order to get one you need to move closer to any transportation stop. Local drivers just do not stop their cars in the wrong place.

Travelling by subway is very convenient in the city. All stations are located close to each other and there are exits close to all major attractions. Tickets for travelling are available at any newsstand or in special vending machines located next to each station.

Those, who want to save money on food, are recommended to go to one of the "Autogrill" coffeehouses for lunch. Here meals are served in a buffet and there are always dishes to suit all tastes at affordable prices. These cafes do not work on evenings.

Large part of interesting shops and supermarkets are located outside the city, so shoppers should not limit themselves to the urban boutiques only.
