The city's most visited cultural institution is the Museum of Art housing more than 3,000 works by outstanding masters. In this museum, you can see works of both famous Israeli and foreign artists, the age of many of the paintings presented here exceeds 200 years. The museum often holds temporary exhibitions devoted to the work of young artists.
A curious tourist attraction is the Santiago Calatrava Bridge that can be seen at the entrance to the city from the airport side. The design of this bridge is special - its supports are almost invisible. That's why it seems that it literally floats in the air at a first sight. Only a few modern bridges share such a feature. Travers can see another similar bridge in Jerusalem.
Not so long ago, a conservatory was opened in the city, a visit to which would be interesting for all music fans. It is equipped with several large concert halls; classical music performers from around the world, as well as popular musical bands from Israel, are frequent guests here.
One of the favorite walking places for the locals and guests of the city is the central square. It is adorned with a beautiful fountain with a sculptural composition, and around the square, there are a lot of fruit trees. The main decoration of the square is monuments dedicated to the city founders- Yoel Moshe Salomon, Yehoshua Stampfer, Moshe Shmuel Raab and David Gutmann. In the immediate vicinity of the square, you can find many interesting monuments dedicated to the agricultural past of the town, as well as enjoy mandarin trees at every step.
