Modern Malmo still keeps several reminders of the period of the Denmark governing. Today the space around and inside the castle is dedicated to several museums. You can feel this specific beauty of Malmo while visiting ancient churches and the cathedrals, for example, the magnificent Gothic church of St. Petrichyurka built in XIV century in accordance with the design of the Church of St. Mary in Lübeck.
Malmo is a city that is famous not only for its architectural ensemble, but also for its wonderful parks and boulevards. Because of this fact Malmo is often called "the city of parks". Numerous park zones of the city have spread out like little oases. In these parks you can often meet musicians and artists, various festivals are often conducted there. In Malmo are also operating Symphonic Orchestra, Concert Hall, Drama Theatre, Dance Theatre, and, of course, numerous cafes and restaurants that often become the place of conducting theatrical events and performances.
