The Cathedral, which can be found near a shopping square, is the most important architectural attraction of Molde. The height of the bell tower is 50 meters, so it is perfectly visible from all parts of the town. The cathedral was built in the middle of the 20th century, and this building was the work of the architect Finn Breen. To admire the magnificent scenery from above, go to the Varden observation area. From this place visitors will enjoy panoramic views of the town, snow-capped mountain peaks and ferries that look really tiny from such height.
