Limassol is a city located on the south coast of Cyprus. This is one of the biggest cities of the island with only Nicosia bigger. Since that time Limassol has been chosen as the location of wine festivals devoted to Dionysius – the god of wine. The celebration lasts several days and is traditionally rich in performances, songs, dancing, plays and, of course, wine drinking.
