The main attraction of the city is St. Stephan Cathedral. This is the elegant Renaissance building, which construction took place in the 16th century. A hundred years after the completion of building works a bell tower was built near the cathedral.
Beaches of Hvar are ideal for underwater hunting. The bottom here is rocky and is covered with algae, so there is a lot of fish here in any season of a year.
