The First Vegan Suite in the World Opens in a Hilton Hotel

Vegan travelers in search of a hotel in London can now book the very first vegan suite in the world. It has recently opened at the Hilton London Bankside hotel and is already available for the reservation. The design of this suite was developed by Bompas & Parr. Due to attention even to small details, this suite is a true piece of art and it was already approved by The Vegan Society.

The Vegan Suite features a ton of interesting details, such as plant-based check-in desks, eco-cotton carpet, vegan-friendly bedding, and much more. The whole suite was completely refurbished and remade from a scratch. Finding inspiration in a contemporary vegan lifestyle, creators of the suite added things like vegan-friendly toiletries, a minibar, and pillow options. The result is, indeed, amazing – a luxurious, boutique-style suite that is perfectly suitable for ethically-conscious guests.

Not only is the suite itself vegan-friendly. Travelers will feel cared for as soon as they enter the hotel and greeted with a special plant-based check-in desk. All keycards, seats, and even artworks are made of Pinatex – a vegan-friendly leather-like material that is made from pineapple cellulose. Inside the suite, all aspects have been taken into consideration to ensure guest satisfaction. For example, the bed has a Pinatex headboard with charming handmade embroidery by Emily Porter. All pillows are non-allergenic, anti-bacterial, and filled with environmentally sourced material that replaces feathers.

The fabulous floor of the suite is made with 100% renewable Moso Bamboo. All carpets are made with organic cotton that comes from a responsible source. The desk chair and cushions also have Pinatex cover that feels chic and stylish. The minibar in the suite is filled with locally-sourced vegan food such as fruit and nut snacks, protein powder, and various energy balls by Deliciously Ella. The in-room menu contains different breakfast, lunch, and dinner options developed by Hilton London hotel Bankside’s culinary team. For breakfast, guests can order muesli, fruit juices, scrambled Quorn, quinoa, avocado, and grilled Portobello mushrooms. For lunch and dinner, the menu includes cauliflower steak, cucumber salad, and five-bean dhal.

All toiletries have recycled packaging and come from PRIJA ginseng. When it is time to clean the suite, only eco-friendly and non-toxic cleaning products are used. The same applies to linen washing. Only environmentally friendly detergents are used for washing.
