HTL Hotels will add specially adapted music playlists to its guestrooms and lobbies. The playlists are developed together with Spotify and feature music gathered from everywhere in the world.
The collaboration is done through Spotify distributor Soundtrack Your Brand. The company already collaborates with such famous brands as Starbucks, Absolut Vodka, Sandqvist and Stutterheim. Soundtrack Your Brand specializes in improving brands’ interaction through music. Together the hotel chain and the popular music service will create playlists that fully unleash international concept of HTL hotels, helping guests from more than 100 countries enjoy carefully selected tracks. HTL and Spotify will create several playlists for different target groups, with every playlist still reflecting the HTL concept. That way it will be easier to detail and control music played at HTL hotels. The exclusive playlists first will be aired in all HTL hotels in Norway and Sweden, and later they will be added to all properties of the hotelier, including the newly built ones.
The companies developed numerous music playlists that suit different occasion, guests and time of the day. Aimed to contribute to welcoming atmosphere, the playlists for lobby also feature sound level that doesn’t prevent conversations and business talks. It will be possible to manage the playlists using social media, Spotify account or HTL website.
