Karl Lagerfeld to Become Hotel Designer

Famous fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld, who is internationally known for his collections for the Chanel brand, will soon try new profession, this time as designer of hotels. Karl Lagerfeld will step into business with the help of famous Macau casino operator Sociedade de Jogos de Macau (SJM). Together, they will create the first hotel designed by Lagerfeld.

The hotel will be named after the famous designer. The debut 270 guestroom Karl Lagerfeld hotel will appear in China, in a 20-story Macau tower. This will be not the only designer branded hotel located in the tower. The Lisboa Palace will also have a Versace themed hotel, which was announced previously. The newly built complex located in Cotai Strip in Macau will include casinos, shopping facilities, restaurants and more than 2000 hotel guestrooms.
