Starwood Hotels & Resorts expands its portfolio by opening new property in Turkey. The first Méridien hotel is to be launched in Istanbul. The hotel will be named Le Méridien Istanbul Etiler and will offer upscale service and 260 rooms suitable for both business and leisure travel.
The hotel in Turkey has got an advantageous location in Etiler area – from its rooms guests can observe Bosphorus and a panoramic view over 2 continents. Le Méridien’s management says the hotel is going to offer its traditional high class service and sophisticated origins and hope to become a local center of culture and cuisine.
Guests of this hotel in Istanbul will be offered 206 rooms, 26 suites and 28 serviced apartments. In 32 stores of Le Méridien hotel there is also a place for a contemporary restaurant, several bars, new Creative Hub lobby, a lounge in the rooftop, a business center with a 1,700 sq. m. meeting room, 2 pools (indoor and outdoor), a gym and a spa center.
The brand Méridien has been acquired by Starwood Hotels & Resorts 5 years ago and since this time all hotels in this chain are distinguished by attention to design and desire to provide excellent service for all guests. Le Méridien Istanbul Etiler is designed by famous Turkish architect Emre Arolat. The hotel perfectly fits the surrounding environment. Interior design has been created by Le Méridien design department in collaboration with Metex (Istanbul-based design bureau).
