Carlson Rezidor announced the opening of the Park Inn by Radisson Keflavik International Airport, Iceland. The new hotel will be a converted one and will start operating under the new brand in the third quarter of 2015. The midscale property will join two other hotels by Carlson Rezidor in Iceland two Radisson Blu hotels in Reykjavik.
The opening of the Park Inn by Radisson hotel means presence of two core brands of Carlson Rezidor in the country. The Park Inn by Radisson brand is specializing in airport hotels, so the property in Keflavik International Airport will join a portfolio of hotels in all European gateway cities.
The Park Inn by Radisson Keflavik International Airport is located in the southwest of Iceland. It takes just 8 minutes to reach the hotel from the airport terminal. The hotel will offer shuttle services to and from the airport. The ride to the capital of the country Reykjavik and the famous Blue Lagoon will take 35 and 15 minutes respectively. At the hotel, guests will find comfortable guestrooms, 470 sq. m. of meeting and event space, an all-day dining restaurant, underground parking, gym, spa and bar in the lobby.
Park Inn by Radisson is a relatively young mid-market brand targeted at youthful travelers and based on three main concepts choice, community and connectivity.
